Refund policy

Our 30-day guarantee

If The Porch Light Kit doesn't steady you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we refund the full $47 — every cent. No questions, no forms, no hard feelings. The kit stays yours. We will not ask you to delete it or prove anything.

This is a voluntary commercial guarantee that we grant in addition to, and more generously than, your statutory rights. It does not limit any statutory right described below.

How to request a refund

Email hello@porchlightkit.com with the word “refund” and the email address you used at checkout. That is the whole process. We reply within one business day. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

Statutory right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU/EEA)

Consumers are generally entitled to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons, pursuant to the Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG).

Important exception for digital content. Under §18 Abs 1 Z 11 FAGG, the right of withdrawal lapses for digital content not supplied on a physical medium where performance has begun with the consumer's express prior consent and with the consumer's acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost. Because The Porch Light Kit is delivered immediately after purchase, you are asked to give that consent at checkout. Once you do so and delivery begins, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies — but our voluntary 30-day guarantee above still does, and it is more generous.

To exercise a statutory right of withdrawal where it applies, an unambiguous statement by email to hello@porchlightkit.com is sufficient. You may, but need not, use the model withdrawal form.

Returns

The Porch Light Kit is a digital product. Nothing physical ships, and there is nothing to return.

What we cannot promise

We cannot promise a reunion or reconciliation with your adult child, and we never will. Nobody honestly can. The kit is educational material — the rules, the letter, and the words — not therapy, not crisis care, and not a guaranteed outcome. If the weight ever feels dangerous, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — free, 24/7, United States).
